Love it. Use this app every day to either read a book or listen. I have a 40 minute drive to work and listen to books every day. So many books...so little time.

It works well and its great to listen to audiobooks for free.

I travel the roads quite a bit for work. This app has been a blessing. I used to purchase expensive audio books to keep me company and kill time while driving. I kept playing them over and over due to the cost. Now, I download/borrow audio books from my library at the touch of a button. This app is so user friendly I find myself listening to several audio books a week. I love the fact that it automatically puts your holds in your checkout and emails you notification as soon as it becomes available. My only complaint would be that you constantly have to sign in. When checking availability on any of your list (it actually lets you see how many readers are ahead of you), if you go to your bookshelf and then want to return to see what other books are available, you have to sign in again. Yes it does remember your number and your pin but it is irritating at times. My only concern is that I will run out of books to listen to since I borrow so regularly. Please keep adding to the lists. :-)

Content depends on the library. But the app is great.

Ive been able to find a book to listen to on my drive home from work for almost a year now without going to the library to check out an actual CD. This has allowed me to "read" more than I would normally have time to and has encouraged me to try books I might have never seen in the large library.

Having an app that I can use to download books from the library that are (a) free, (b) never overdue, and (c) are available at the drop of a hat is amazing. There are quirks the app could do better - Id love it to sync better across devices or not get annoyed if I download it on too many devices at once (sometimes it lets me do both my phone and iPad, sometimes not). But it is incredible and means I can get so much more read while Im commuting, doing housework, or exercising. Watch out, Audible!

This app saves me hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars a year! Most libraries have an amazing number of titles available (ebook and audio) and I no longer pay for books. I took off one star because they no longer list in the Maine search results what number in a series a book is, you have to go to the description page. This adds countless back and forths to external sites to find the order or on Overdrive itself hoping that you just figure it out. This is my main frustration. I use it on my iPhone and am very happy with it.

I love this app. It is a God send that gets me through long car rides and long work days. But now there is another glitch. The books are not advancing to the next part. When part one is over it restarts part one instead of automatically advancing to part 2. This happens for every part. This has been multiple books recently. Please fix.

I listen to podcasts mostly. Audiobooks were getting too expensive. Then a coworker showed me this app. My library membership is actually getting used now that Im out of college and with a good pick the day breezes by.

I am a new mom and have little to no time to read a physical book. With this app I am able to borrow audiobook and kindle books free from my library. In the first month of using this app I was able to finish 2 audiobooks and 1 kindle! I use my iPhone 6s + mostly to read kindle at night while I have to keep the lights off for my little one to sleep. And a wireless Bluetooth headset to listen to audiobooks while I multitask during the day. The only reason I dont give this app 5 stars is because of the selection. I wish there were more current and popular titles available from my library to borrow digitally.

This app is my go-to resource for classic entertainment: books. Very clean interface, very easy to use and powerful. Syncs perfectly with my public library. Amen to this!

I use this app constantly for both written and spoken books, as well as audiobooks for my son. Its relatively easy to use and also free :)

i used to get audiobooks that came in packs of discs from the library, import them to my computer, then to my phone. this app takes all the drudgery out of the process. i also no longer have huge amounts of audiobooks sucking up hard drive space on my laptop. i am very grateful that my library is using this service. the app itself is what it should be, imo. a no frills piece of software that does not distract from what it is - a player/e-reader.

The app keeps crashing on my iPhone and iPad. I havent been able to go past the login screen without it crashing.

Best way to stay on top of all the audiobooks I can get from my library. Makes the miles melt away during travel & any waiting time more enjoyable. Use it during morning & evening walks, & solitary chores too; the time flies. Wouldnt want to be without it!

I like it but wish it was more user friendly and I didnt have to sign in every time.

Once again while visiting my library today, I lodged another complaint against Overdrive. Still cant download a book to more than one device.

I so enjoy having this app. It has caused me to read and preview so many books that I would probably have not read. I love that I can get books from the comfort of my home, and return them as well. This app has allowed me to not waste time on books that I thought I would like but after the first chapter, know that its not a book I want to keep reading. Returning books is very easy, and by having automatic checkouts, I get notice of available books thru email and can immediately start reading. It took me a minute to figure out how everything works on the app, but its not complicated.

App crashes at startup on iPad Pro running latest version iOS. Have used previously with success. Latest update has left me without access to an otherwise pleasant prior experience
